15 OSHA Trainees Certified
Some 15 residents attended the three evening sessions of the 10-hour OSHA training course on Construction Safety provided by CASA. Mr. Fernando Garavito of CASA coordinated the presentations which were taught by Luis Aleman at the West Lanham Hills Park Building on Sept. 15, 20, and 22. Traffic Petition!
Residents know that we have a very hard time turning left out of our neighborhood (onto 450, from Garrison Road or onto Ellin Road from Emerson Place). We are asking the Maryland Highway department to install a light at one of these two locations. Please help! Add your name to those petitioning to get a signal light installed. West Lanham Day Updates
A planning team meeting was held, Sept 1 at 7 PM, attended by about 10 people. Numerous elected officials and agencies have responded that they will participate in the Parade and the day's events.
